Water that enters the well bore contains various amounts of salts (sodium chloride and other salts) dissolved in the water. Often, as the fluid moves up the casing or tubing, these dissolved salts will precipitate out and reduce the opening in the pipe and in some instance totally plug the pipe. The Salt Pellets will help keep the salt in solution by chleating action. In Most producing wells 0.37 – 0.75 lbs of pellets 2-3 times a week should be sufficent.
